Begins with a 60 minute assessment and treatment. From there, treatment draws on a full clinical toolkit, chosen based on what you actually need:
Massage
Myofascial release, including PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, a technique that uses gentle muscle contractions to improve flexibility and reduce tightness) and MET (Muscle Energy Techniques, a similar hands-on approach to easing restricted muscles and joints)
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)
Joint mobilisation, gentle but really effective targeted movement to improve how a joint moves
Stretching and exercise
Dry needling, a technique using fine needles to release tight muscles and trigger points
This approach particularly suits nerve-related pain (like carpal tunnel or sciatica), lower back, hip, shoulder and neck pain, and healthy ageing, including falls prevention and balance work.

Firm, therapeutic, and not usually painful. I don’t practice painful deep tissue work except perhaps on very specific areas as needed. Can also include myofascial release techniques as listed above.
For anyone maintaining their wellbeing. This is about keeping on top of everyday tension rather than treating a specific injury.
Every first booking starts with a 60 minute Initial Consultation, whichever service you're after. This gives Robyn time to check any contraindications and briefly discuss treatment goals before treatment begins.

A few important health questions to ensure safe treatment options, understanding your needs - why have you sought treatment?, "range of motion" and other orthopedic tests to help inform the origin of your pain and treatment. $110*
Follow up myotherapy (45 min):
Opportunity to develop/refine your goals and treatment plan. Treatment options as above. $100*

Note: Robyn can work with homecare providers. Let your homecare provider know you want massage as part of your homecare package and Robyn can invoice them once approved.
No. Massage is part of the myotherapy toolkit, but myotherapy also includes assessment, and may include joint mobilisation, prescriptive stretching and exercise, and dry needling, chosen around a treatment plan built for you.
Both are hands-on myofascial release techniques. PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) uses gentle muscle contractions to improve flexibility and reduce tightness. MET (Muscle Energy Techniques) works in a similar way to ease restricted muscles and joints.
It depends on what's going on. Relief can come from just one or a few sessions, but many issues don't have a quick fix. This is something to talk through honestly as part of your treatment plan.
Yes. It's a particular focus of this practice, including falls prevention and staying steady, strong and confident in your body as you age.
It depends on what works best for you, but mobile treatment offers real advantages a clinic can't. You're treated in a familiar, comfortable environment, which often helps you relax more fully into the session. There's no need to travel, which matters if driving is difficult, if you're short on time, or if getting out of the house isn't easy right now. Sessions are private, with Robyn's full attention and no waiting room to sit in beforehand.
